Hello, my name is Jeff and I live and work in Manchester, United Kingdom.
My hobbies include: Rock climbing, walking, mountain biking and aircraft wreck hunting.

I have spent some time re-hashing my website and spent a bit more time on the Peak Wreck pages, the climbing pages have disappeared for a short time while I re-vamp them too. I hope to have them up and running soon, it's just that I need to resize a lot of photographs, plus scan many of the older negatives and clean them up, this is taking longer that I would like 
Google Earth is a free program which gives you a 3D view of the earth, high resolution detail does not cover the whole globe, but in some places it is down to 6" pixel detail, which is enough to see motorcycles and sometimes individual people (look at a golf course),if you have not tried it yet you will be amazed! Not wanting to end my life at an early age I have always taken safety very seriously and I enjoy the technical side of climbing and walking. A few people under- estimate the severity of the terrain on which they are about travel and rapidly become overwhelmed with the situation they find themselves in. Accidents can, and do happen to anyone, even the most experienced, one hopes that the experienced mountaineer will know what to do if this arises, would you?
